  18. What is ModPlayer ?
  19.  
  20.     ModPlayer is a music program which is capable of playing .MOD music files.
  21. This format was originally developed for Amiga computer but today you can use
  22. these files with Macintosh, Atari ST and PC. This file format's strongets points
  23. are good sound quality and compact size.

  25. Why should I use ModPlayer ?
  26.  
  27.     There are several sound-tracker programs available for Macintosh.
  28. Antoine Rosset's Player Pro and  Frank Seide's Sound-Trecker are widely used
  29. and well known programs. They offer great number of features and therefore
  30. they use a lot of hard disk space. ModPlayer was designed to be small but it still
  31. offers many useful features.
